Sentinel’s flagship Build to Rent development – Element 27 which launched its second phase last year – has been renamed to The Elements by Kinleaf. As the company’s premier property in its recently launched Kinleaf portfolio, the scheme laid the foundation for the Kinleaf core values of sustainability, quality, community and convenience – Renting. Refined.
Managed by Sentinel’s team, The Elements by Kinleaf has achieved and maintained carbon neutral certification, and has achieved a 5 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.3 certified rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
The scheme also provides residents with a living experience that is truly focused on the Australian renter – which includes prioritising environmental and social sustainability outcomes while supporting the creation of a vibrant and engaged community.
As the Build to Rent scheme grows and with the completion and lease up of phase two, Sentinel’s focus on building a strong community and integrating sustainability in the rental experience has driven the evolution of its identity.
The Elements by Kinleaf Build to Rent scheme in Subiaco (Perth), Western Australia is joined in the Kinleaf portfolio by Sentinel’s first Build to Rent community The Briscoe by Kinleaf in West Melbourne. The development topped out last year and has recently opened for leasing.
Each Kinleaf community will target several leading sustainability benchmarks for the Australian built environment – including carbon neutral certification, a minimum 5 Star Green Star rating, and a minimum 8-Star average NatHERS (Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme) rating.
