Developer, owner, manager Weave Living has acquired a DA-approved development site in Sydney’s Glebe suburb. The company’s first Sydney scheme will comprise around 80 fully furnished Build to Rent studio apartments for the growing cohort of young professionals, young couples and students in the city.
The site sits adjacent from the Broadway Shopping Centre, surrounded by rich social amenities, a vibrant cafe and restaurant scene and is flanked by some of Australia’s top universities. It is only a short ten-minute ride by public transport into the CBD.
With its Australian market entry, Weave Living has now extended its presence to all major gateway cities in Asia-Pacific and is the only home-grown, fully integrated living sector specialist in the region with high calibre local teams in five APAC geographies.
Weave Living’s Sydney acquisition follows its recently announced new developments in 2025 in Seoul’s Gangnam area, Tokyo’s Minato-ku neighbourhoods and Singapore’s Novena wellness hub.
