Sentinel’s The Briscoe by Kinleaf BTR shortlisted for award

The Briscoe by Kinleaf has been named a finalist in the UDIA Victoria 2025 Awards for Excellence.

Sentinel Australia announced that The Briscoe by Kinleaf Build to Rent development in West Melbourne was shortlisted in the Apartments (Mid-Rise) category at the UDIA Victoria 2025 Awards for Excellence.

The scheme is fully leased and stabilised and comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom pet friendly apartments for over 300 residents.

Amenities include a gym, rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline, BBQ stations, a green internal courtyard, resident lounge and dining area, podcast room, fitness centre and business centre.

Located at 151 Hawke Street in West Melbourne, Victoria, The Briscoe by Kinleaf sits nearby the Melbourne CBD and North Melbourne’s vibrant retail and dining options.

The design of the development aims to honour the eclectic industrial heritage of the site in its design, whilst numerous sustainable features have been integrated throughout the building and within apartments.

The Briscoe by Kinleaf is Sentinel Australia’s third operational Build to Rent development in Australia, following the success of The Elements by Kinleaf in Western Australia – the first fully leased and stabilised institutional Build to Rent scheme in the country.

Sentinel Australia currently has over 1,600 Build to Rent units in operation or under development, with plans to increase this to 5,000 units over the next five years.

The wider team that delivered The Briscoe by Kinleaf includes Rothelowman, Contour Consultants, Crema, and Sentinel’s on-site Kinleaf property management, maintenance and leasing teams.
