Property development and asset management group Salta has broken ground at 25 River Boulevard in Richmond, marking a major step forward in the expansion of its Build to Rent business – Est.
25 River Boulevard will comprise 476 apartments across six buildings along the Yarra River. Amenities include a 25m outdoor pool, a wellness centre, co-working spaces, cinema, private dining, and expansive green areas.
The development has been shaped around the idea of ‘mini neighbourhoods’, each building with its own identity, fostering connection and a sense of place.

The Richmond site forms part of Salta’s commitment to the evolution of the Victoria Gardens Precinct. It has delivered over 1,800 apartments, over 30,000 sqm of commercial space, and co-developed Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre with Vicinity Centres.
Salta has a deep connection with the area, which expands on the vision of the company’s Founder Sam Tarascio Senior. Last year, the company opened the doors to its highly anticipated Fitzroy & Co development, also in Melbourne.
Salta showed gratitude to those who attended the official groundbreaking ceremony, including The Hon. Jacinta Allan, Premier of Victoria, The Hon. Sonya Kilkenny, Minister for Planning, Local Members for the Northern Metropolitan Region Enver Erdogan MP and Sheena Watt MP, and Victorian Executive Director of Property Council of Australia Cath Evans, GAICD.
