Ethos Urban and Corval granted planning for Parramatta BTR

Colliers’ Ethos Urban guided Corval through strategic planning, a design competition and DA to receive approval for the 110 George Street development.

Consultancy arm of Colliers – Ethos Urban – alongside investor Corval, has received planning approval for a mixed-use Build to Rent development at 110 George Street in Parramatta.

Ethos Urban assisted Corval from the scheme’s inception by providing strategic planning advice, managing the Design Excellence Competition and preparing the Development Application (DA).

Ethos Urban worked collaboratively with the City of Parramatta and other key stakeholders throughout the process to ensure a positive outcome.

The approved development at 110 George Street comprises a 47-storey shop-top housing tower that fronts Phillip Street. It will provide 382 Build to Rent apartments, ground floor retail and podium resident amenities.

A 30-storey commercial office tower fronts George Street, which supports modern office space, ground floor retail and a future childcare centre.

Located in an important pocket of the Parramatta CBD, the site links the two key streets and is close to public transport, amenities, and the Parramatta River.

Arcadia Landscape Architecture designed a new network of pedestrian links and a central, civic plaza supported by greenery and flanked by activating, retail uses. The design competition winning scheme was conceived by Hassell.

The proposal provides well-located and diverse housing and a substantial amount of employment floor space. It will support the vitality of the Parramatta CBD and directly responds to NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure planning policies.
