Barings and Aware Super recently opened the WeAreLiving Brunswick Build to Rent development in Fortitude Valley. The Hon Sam O’Connor MP, Minister for Housing and Public Works and Minister for Youth, officially marked the occasion. Barings and Aware Super completed the purchase of the scheme from Frasers Property Australia.
The scheme comprises 366 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, including some discount-to-market apartments, across 27 storeys, setting a new benchmark for renting in Brisbane.
The 1,800 sqm of amenities include a rooftop pool and dog park, co-working space, fitness centre and treatment room, cinema/podcast/karaoke room, and a range of dining and entertainment spaces.

Located on Brunswick Street, the all-electric 7.5-star NatHERS rated building has on-site management, flexible lease terms of up to three years, furnished options, a busy program of resident social events and optional apartment cleaning.
Designed by Cox Architecture and built by Hutchinson, WeAreLiving Brunswick is part of the Queensland Government Build to Rent Pilot Project, with approximately 40% of the homes made available at a discounted rent through a subsidy from the Queensland Government.
