Knight Frank expands Capital Advisory teams across Asia-Pacific

The appointments solidify Knight Frank's commitment to providing clients with comprehensive solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.

Property consultancy Knight Frank has announced the expansion of its capital advisory team in Asia-Pacific with the appointment of three senior personnel.

In Australia, Ben Schubert has been appointed as Head of Capital Advisory – Australia in addition to his current role as Head of Institutional Sales, leveraging his proven track record of twenty years in the industry and seven years with Knight Frank.

Ben will lead the development and growth of the firm’s Capital Advisory business, which offers clients access to a full spectrum of global Capital Advisory options – including Capital Raising, Recapitalisations, Partnering and Debt Advisory – and facilitating the flow of Asia-Pacific capital into the Australian market.

In Singapore, Simon Mathews has relocated from London as Knight Frank’s new Director – Debt Advisory. Simon brings extensive sector expertise and experience advising institutional investors and developers across various real estate sectors and jurisdictions.

He will focus on sourcing innovative funding solutions to support capital market transactions in the Australian market, as non-bank lenders continue to grow their market share.

Alice Crowley has also joined the company to take on the role of Director – International Capital. She will be drawing upon over a decade of Asia-Pacific experience in the real estate industry.

Alice’s primary focus is assisting Asian-based investors execute their investment strategies. Her background spans across Investor Relations, Transactions and Development Management in Australia and Singapore. Her extensive client relationships will be an invaluable asset to the team.
