Construction partner Icon have shared a project update on Greystar’s The Gladstone Build to Rent scheme in Melbourne. The development will open to residents this September.
Located in Melbourne’s Fishermans Bend precinct, the $500m scheme includes three towers delivering 700 new residential homes for 1,500 residents, from studios to family-size apartments. The Gladstone offers 4,600 sqm of amenity space and 775 sqm of dedicated retail space.
Now the team delivering the project have announced some major milestones in the past few months.
They have proudly shared that all three tower cranes have been demobilised, The Gladstone building envelope is complete across two towers, the fit-out cycle is well underway for all three towers – with commissioning now commenced, the hard and soft landscaping through the podium has begun, and the hand-laid bricks on the podium facade have been revealed after full scaffold dismantle.
Greystar’s The Gladstone development was designed by Scott Carver architects, interior design partner Hecker Guthrie, and landscape architecture partner Arcadia.
