The M_Park development recently topped out and the new proposals by residential developer Stockland will include its first Build to Rent scheme.
Set to feature a mixed-use precinct which includes the proposed Build to Rent scheme, retail and office and lifestyle amenities, the development will be one of Australia’s leading true mixed-use precincts that will support the growth of life sciences and technology in Sydney.
“Stockland is progressing a revised proposal for M_Park Stage 2 with the NSW State Government while continuing to work closely with the City of Ryde. The new proposal will enhance land use on the site by delivering a mixed-use precinct which includes Build to Rent, retail and office, as well as lifestyle amenities and activation to support an 18-hour economy. We have informed the NSW Department of Planning and Environment of our intention to submit a State Significant Development Application for M_Park Stage 2 next year. As plans progress, Stockland will continue to work with Council, the Department of Planning and Environment and the broader community.”

The M_Park Stage 2 proposal will best respond to changing market conditions while also addressing the growing demand for housing in the area and activation to support the 18-hour economy.

There are no proposed changes to M_Park Stage 1, which is currently under construction, however Stockland ensure that they will continue to work closely with Council and State Government on the entire M_Park project.
