MONNO, in partnership with Local: Residential, have shared a construction update at the LORIMER Build to Rent scheme. Designed by Rothelowman, LORIMER will comprise 421 purpose-designed Build to Rent apartments and amenities in Docklands.
Construction commenced in May 2025 with in-ground piling followed by the completion of slab-on-ground works. Continuing this momentum, Crema has progressed swiftly onto the podium structure this year.
LORIMER is set to exceed an average 8.5 Star NatHERS energy rating — the highest of any Build to Rent scheme nationally — meaning residents will require significantly less energy to heat and cool their homes, translating directly to cost savings and a lower environmental footprint. Located a stone’s throw from Yarra’s Edge and the Melbourne CBD, LORIMER is set to welcome its first residents in Q3 2027.
