Local Residential, a Melbourne-born Build to Rent business announces that it has appointed Jennie Fojtik as the company’s Head of Operations. Jennie joins Local Residential from the UK, where she was most recently Head of Mobilisation at Quintain.
In her new role, Jennie will oversee asset operations across Local Residential’s portfolio, as the company works towards having 5,000 apartments commissioned around Australia by 2026. The company’s Co-CEO says that Jennie’s appointment is an important one for the business.

A seasoned professional in the operation of Build to Rent assets, Jennie brings with her over eight years’ experience in Build to Rent operations and 20 years’ experience in the residential property sector. At Quintain, Jennie was integral to establishing their Build to Rent arm at Wembley Park where she was in charge of mobilising 3,650 homes.

Currently, Local Residential has two Build to Rent projects under construction in Melbourne. It’s flagship Kensington project – set to open mid-2024 – will deliver 477 apartments, and the company will deliver a 420-apartment scheme in South Melbourne, expected in 2025.
