Kiwi Property opens the doors to Resido

Kiwi Property opens the much anticipated Resido scheme - New Zealand’s biggest Build to Rent development to date.

New Zealand based property company Kiwi Property has recently announced the official opening of its new Build to Rent development – Resido. It is the largest Build to Rent scheme in the country.

The official opening event was attended by key project leaders, local Kiwi, and various dignitaries. The event featured a performance by students from Sylvia Park School and the ribbon was cut by New Zealand Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Christopher Luxon.

Resido’s first residents have already moved in. Prospective renters can visit the scheme’s website to book tours and view floor plans before applying for one of the new studios, one-, two-, or three-bedroom apartments.

Apartments features new energy-efficient whiteware, with many being adaptable for accessibility needs. The fully furnished homes at Resido will be available from July.

“This is renting that makes sense. We’re offering Kiwis more choice when it comes to housing, combining the flexibility of renting with the stability of home ownership and a true community feel. Resido has been many years in the making and we’re excited to officially cut the ribbon and open our doors to an exciting new community.”

Located next to Auckland’s popular Sylvia Park, the Resido Build to Rent scheme offers a new way of renting for Kiwis and has been created with the unique needs of New Zealand’s renters in mind.

At the development, residents can personalise their homes by painting a wall, hanging photos, or getting involved with a range of events held on-site.

Amenities at the scheme include a gym, co-working space, rooftop barbeque, on-site resident services team and media room. Resido is also 100% pet friendly and contains an on-site dog walk and dog wash.

The scheme’s central suburban Mount Wellington location allows residents convenient access to the train station, bus routes, motorways, and the local eateries and shops that Sylvia Park has to offer.

“Nestled in the centrally located and exciting neighbourhood of Mount Wellington, with all the brilliant amenities of Sylvia Park right next door, the perks of this community are numerous.

“We’re looking forward to moving in more members of our new community and creating a vibrant place for everyone to live and rent their way.”
