Goldfields launches Build to Rent platform with The Raleigh BTR

The Raleigh Build to Rent development is being delivered by Maxcon Constructions, in collaboration with Fraser & Partners.

National property developer Goldfields has launched premium Build to Rent platform The Keys. It aims to provide a thoughtfully designed, resident-centred rental experience. The flagship scheme within The Keys collection – The Raleigh in Windsor – opens in June 2026, with pre-leasing now available.

Purpose-designed for those prioritising lifestyle through long-term rental, The Raleigh brings together architecture, resident focused amenities and a natural sense of community to establish a new benchmark for the Build to Rent sector in Australia.

Every part of the resident experience at The Keys is considered, from the first enquiry through to a resident’s first night in.

Residents are provided with a single, trusted point of support for the everyday, with move-ins seamlessly coordinated, maintenance handled promptly, deliveries managed securely and shared spaces ready when needed. Everything is effortlessly accessible through one intuitive system, so nothing requires chasing or follow-up.

“With The Keys, we’ve created somewhere residents won’t want to leave. It’s an entirely new category of renting where architecture, service and lifestyle come together with a level of intention and craft the market has never seen.

“We see significant opportunity to expand The Keys platform, with numerous new Build to Rent sites and projects already being actively explored.”

Marco Gattino, Managing Director, Goldfields

Set between Melbourne’s Albert Park and Prahran Market, The Raleigh comprises 348 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across interconnected 15-storey towers.

Apartments are bespoke designed for Build to Rent and finished with fixtures and furnishings that balance beauty and durability. Over 2,600m² of shared amenity is designed to support both daily routine and social connection.

A rooftop dedicated to recreation and gathering includes a pool, fully equipped gym, half basketball court, cinema room and spaces for dining and entertainment, with views across the Melbourne skyline. A sky bridge connects both towers for seamless resident access.

Residents will also have access to a dedicated outdoor dog park on level nine, a coworking space, and basement amenities including a golf simulator, dog wash, tool workshop and bicycle workshop, alongside 278 car spaces, 435 bicycle spaces and motorbike parking.

“The Raleigh captures the intent of The Keys, with quietly premium, design-led apartments and communal areas that feel complete, comfortable and well-made.It’s about delivering a property that complements the neighbourhood culture around it, while creating a genuine sense of identity and belonging for residents.

“Through thoughtfully designed spaces that bring people together, The Raleigh fosters community and delivers a higher standard of living.”

Mitchell Tayt, General Manager Build to Rent, Goldfields

Sustainability is built into the design, with The Raleigh targeting an average 7-star NatHERS rating and 5-star Green Star certification. A 25kW rooftop solar array supplies around 10% of the building’s energy needs, appliances and hot water are fully electric, and the basement includes load-managed EV charging.

Windsor is known for its ‘quirky’ soul, world-class dining, and a diverse range of shops, bars and restaurants along Chapel Street, supported by excellent transport links and seamless connectivity.
