Developer Cedar Pacific has appointed David Lam as its new Project Director. David brings a wealth of experience across various complex development projects, with a strong track record of delivering positive outcomes from inception through to completion.
His depth of expertise, leadership capability, and collaborative approach will be instrumental as Cedar continues to grow its living sector platform. As the developer expands its Build to Rent portfolio and progresses key development, David’s appointment will help further strengthen its delivery capability.
David’s appointment follows the recent appointment of Seyda Andrews as Legal & Compliance Manager. Seyda brings a strong depth of experience across legal, compliance, and risk management, and will play a key role in supporting the firm’s continued growth across the living sector.
In December 2025, Cedar Pacific closed funding for its first sustainable co-living scheme in Wolli Creek, Sydney, alongside equity investors Sumitomo Forestry Co Ltd., Grosvenor’s Diversified Property Investments (GDPI) and Moata Ventures.
Then, two months later in February 2026, the developer lodged a development application (DA) for a Build to Rent scheme comprising 306 apartments across three buildings on a former Turner site in Canberra.
The proposals relate to a 7,070 sqm site at Block 3 Section 57, on the corner of Northbourne Avenue and Condamine and Forbes streets, which Cedar Pacific acquired for $30m in July 2024.
