According to MSCI Real Assets, real estate consultancy and investment firm CBRE was named the top-ranked firm for global commercial real estate investment sales in 2024.
MSCI Real Assets credited CBRE with a 22% market share across all property types on a global basis throughout the year – a 560-basis point lead over the nearest competitor.
In addition to the global achievement, CBRE also held the top spot for commercial real estate investment sales across all three regions: the Americas at 21%, Asia Pacific at 32%, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa at 18%.
“To truly excel in today’s competitive landscape, market knowledge alone isn’t enough.
“CBRE leverages real-time intelligence in markets worldwide, unparalleled expertise, and trusted relationships to pinpoint opportunities and move capital across borders and asset types for our clients.”
Kevin Aussef, Americas President of Investment Properties, CBRE
The milestone follows on from the momentum CBRE gained the year before in 2023, where the firm held the top spot in MSCI Real Assets’ global rankings across the five largest asset classes: Build to Rent at 28%, office at 23% market share, industrial at 29%, retail at 24%, and hotels at 26%.
CBRE’s presence was the most prominent in Australia, Asia Pacific and Pacific.
