Architecture and design practice TURNER has made 23 promotions at its Sydney office. Twelve Senior Designers, three Senior Project Designers, two Project Designers and a Project Architect are among the high performers to have recently accepted promotions.
TURNER also acknowledged more senior team members, with Martin Petru stepping up to Senior Associate, Design Strategist. Meanwhile, Tony Stodart has been promoted to Associate Director, Technical Lead. Congratulations have also been extended to Georgia Crawley, Erin Douglas (nee Martin) and Victor Torroglosa who now take up the roles of Associates at TURNER.
Victor and Erin both joined TURNER in 2017 and were formerly Senior Project Designers ahead of accepting their most recent promotions. Erin specialises in interior design and is an integral part of the studio’s Design Culture Panel, championing innovative and robust outcomes for clients and collaborators.
Erin’s colleague Victor Torroglosa brings global experience to his role. Prior to joining TURNER, Victor lived and worked in Spain and China. Victor brings with him an inquisitive mindset and an ambitious approach to all projects. Rounding out the trio of new Associates is Georgia. In just four years, Georgia has quickly ascended to lead TURNER’s Experiential Design team; overseeing all of the practice’s wayfinding, public art and branding work.
This year marks TURNER’s 25th year in practice and Managing Director Karl May says the plethora of promotions is indicative of the studio’s depth of talent.
“TURNER’s solid reputation and our significant portfolio of multi-residential work have been well won. Attracting passionate and agile designers, and retaining them, is a credit to the ambitious and supportive workplace we’ve nurtured for over two decades.”
Karl May, Managing Director, TURNER
