Colliers appoints Director of Investment Services in Melbourne

Colliers has expanded its Melbourne Northwest operation with the appointment of an experienced commercial property specialist.

Colliers has appointed Ervin Niyaz as Director of Investment Services. He will be based at Essendon Fields. Ervin’s new role will focus on premium investments, strip retail, office and development sites, in line with Colliers’ broader strategy to capitalise on the economic growth of Melbourne’s emerging suburbs.

With over a decade of experience in Victoria’s commercial property market, including eight years at Fitzroys, Ervin joins Colliers to work alongside Travis Keenan, leading the growing investment services team. His appointment strengthens Colliers’ presence across Melbourne’s Northwest corridor; an area identified for significant growth and investor demand.

Throughout his career, Ervin has managed several high-profile transactions across Melbourne’s inner and middle-ring suburbs. These include the landmark 42–46 Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds sale for $5.61m, the mixed-use 146–154 Elgin Street, Carlton property for $5.525m, and prime retail assets at 78–80 Lygon Street, Brunswick East and 1120–1122 Mt Alexander Road, Essendon, achieving $3.75m and $3.4m respectively.
