Developer GURNER has received planning approval for the Docklands development – Elysium Fields. Hamilton Marino has been appointed as the construction partner for the first stage of the project.
The development will comprise over 1,100 Build to Rent and Build to Sell apartments. Victoria’s Planning Minister approved the first three buildings of the development, which will include around 700 homes.
The precinct includes retail and hospitality, a four-star short-stay hotel with approximately 100 keys, and another five-star hotel in the main tower. It will also have conference facilities, a business club, and hospitality offerings.
The $1.7bn scheme is inspired by a futuristic approach to holistic health and anti-ageing, with the private amenities and residences incorporating the latest technologies in health and wellness.

The developer stated that Elysium Fields will allow residential access to on-site anti-ageing facilities and equipment such as cryotherapy, IV infusions, dry and infrared sauna, red light therapy, grounding and PEMF beds.
Residents can also benefit from exclusive access to the Elysian Reverse Ageing Medical Clinic that will provide MRIs, DEXA scans, brain scans, blood testing and personalised health plans.
Situated at 208-226 Harbour Esplanade at Melbourne’s Dockland, GURNER will begin early construction works in the next four weeks at the 27,000 sqm site.
The Build to Sell offering is expected to launch to the public early next year. Construction works will begin next month (November 2024).
