On 8th June 2025, The Global Living Company – a Dubai-based residential property furnishing services company – acquired David Phillips Australia.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and positions it for continued expansion across Australia and the wider APAC region, as the company aims to cement its reputation as a leading furnishing partner in the fast-growing Build to Rent, Build to Sell and Co-living sectors.
The Australian business will be led by The Global Living Company’s group CEO, Nicholas Gill, and it will continue with the same team that has grown it since launching in 2023. Nick has been at the helm of David Phillips Australia since its launch.
David Phillips Australia will be renamed The Global Living Company Australia and Nick will continue to steer the company through its next phase of growth. The company has already developed relationships with a significant number of Build to Rent and Build to Sell operators and developers, furnishing developments in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Perth.
