Head of Operations Jennie Fojtik from Melbourne-based Built to Rent platform and certified B Corp company Local: Residential has joined release | Podcast host Nick Hammond on the first episode.

Before joining Local: Residential, Jennie worked at Quintain Living for 15 years, playing a crucial role in establishing their Build to Rent division at Wembley Park in the UK. There she managed the mobilisation of 3,650 homes.
Local: Residential is creating and managing communities of apartments built entirely for renters, with the aim to commission 5,000 apartments in Australia by 2026.
Earlier this year, the company partnered with furniture provider Koala to furnish numerous apartments in Local’s inaugural Build to Rent development – Local: Kensington – in Melbourne, to be ready for renters from August.
In February, Local reached final close at its Local: Residential Turnkey Venture I. With capital committed by a large global pension fund, the Local: Residential Venture is now fully deployed with end value assets under management of over AU$650m
